Service Description: This project was created to identify areas within 100 feet of both Surface-Water (Lakes and Streams) and Wetlands that are Vulnerable to Erosion throughout five Vilas County Huc 12 Watersheds. Those five Huc 12 Watersheds are Rice Creek (Boulder Junction), Rice Creek (Cloverland), Muskrat Creek-Wisconsin River, Deerskin River and White Sand Creek. Each parcel contains one or several smaller polygons, each polygon is roughly 10,000 square feet (about 1/4 acre). The polygons are used to easily identify locations that are more Vulnerable to Erosion. Each parcel contains a point location that represents the highest EVI Value. Similarly, each smaller polygon contains one point that represents the location most vulnerable to erosion within that specific smaller polygon.
